Park Township is a rural community that invites you to peaceful, quiet living. Fisher’s Lake and Cotherman Lake (private) add to the scenic beauty of this community. The Portage River meanders through the southeast quadrant of our township and the Flowerfield Spring Creek travels in the southwest quadrant. Park township is dotted with well kept farms and farmland which typify a respect for the land.
The western edge of Park carries two major transportation routes north and south – US-131 highway and the Norfolk-Southern railway, both connecting southwest Michigan with access to northern Indiana, Chicago, and Detroit.
