NOTICE OF JOINT SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE LOCKPORT TOWNSHIP BOARD AND
PARK TOWNSHIP BOARD
November 20, 2023 at 6:00 PM

The Township Boards of Lockport Township and Park Township will hold a joint special meeting on November 20, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., at the Lockport Township Hall located at 58982 Holtom Rd, Three Rivers, MI 49093 for the purpose of discussing a proposed 425 Agreement between Lockport Township and Park Township that would transfer parcels of land to Park Township for the purpose of installing wastewater sewer infrastructure and promoting economic development in the communities. Parcels proposed for this transfer include those on the southside of Lovers Lane from Enterprise Dr to Buckhorn Road (including the Tim Avenue neighborhood), as well as those on Buckhorn Road from Lovers Lane to the Three Rivers Boundary.

The public may participate in the special meeting by attending the meeting at the Township Hall listed at the address above. There will be a public comment period for public participation. Moreover, the public may also participate in the meeting by submitting any written comments to the e-mail address below or by mail or hand-delivery to the Township Clerk utilizing the Township Hall address. Furthermore, requests for documents associated with the Project are available upon request to the Township.
