As of April 29, the Three Rivers Public Library will require that Park Township residents pay $50 annually to receive a library card. The change came about after Park Township declined to pay the 35 percent increase in annual fees that TRPL had stipulated in a new contract. While Park residents can freely use TRPL for other services, they will need to purchase a card to check out materials. However, Park residents can receive a free library card and use all services at the Mendon Township Library and Vicksburg District Library, both of which will continue to receive funding from the Township.
